How LOADPATH sources and corrects
The standards every edition is checked against before it is published.
Our standards
- A story is in scope only if its own source names data centers or large loads and it fits one of the eight sections. Large-load tariffs, large-load interconnection and service rules, and the laws, orders, rulings and dockets that set them are always in scope.
- Every fact a story states is backed by short exact quotes from the story’s own source page, each at most 125 characters.
- Every story links to its own source page. The link is taken exactly as the source provided it, opened and confirmed to be that story before publishing.
- Every commission, legislative or regulatory story shows each confirmed identifier (docket, case, order, bill, executive order, ordinance or rule), labelled by type. An identifier is confirmed on the issuing body’s own record; when none can be confirmed, the story says so.
- We report what sources state; we do not speculate.
- Editions print actual dates, never words like “today” or a weekday alone. Times are given in Eastern and Pacific time.
- Every edition passes its quality checks before it is published. An edition that does not pass is not published.
Corrections
If a fact in LOADPATH is wrong, email info@loadpath.energy with the edition date, the story and the source that shows the error. A corrected edition replaces the original on the site.
